When we look up at the sign of the Son of man, there are many things for the eyes to focus upon, which bring amazing insights regarding the appearance of our Lord. The rhinoceros and the hare have demonstrated this. But the greatest treasure in the sight of Israel is the Ark of the Testament, which was prophesied to be revealed in heaven:
And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. (Revelation 11:19)
In this article, you will see the revealed ark as we continue gazing upon the sign of the Son of man. Since Revelation speaks in symbols, one might ask, where might we see the symbols of the ark? Where is the chest? Where are the carrying staves? Where are the two cherubim who stand as witnesses to the testament? And what objects symbolize the tables of the testament, the pot of manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded? Are these items displayed as part of the sign of the Son of man?
From the true story of the two witnesses, one might have the idea that maybe God is doing something similar in the heavens to what He did in 2022, where the ark was traced by the ephemerides of the comet C/2021 O3 (PanSTARRS) and the sun. The paths of those two celestial objects traced the ark with its handles:
Even at that time, the symbolism had to be considered carefully. The symmetry of the poles, the cherubim with their wings, the body of the ark—all these things were identified through scriptural and heavenly symbolism that weighed as heavily as the visual appearance. This gives us to understand, for example, that the body of the ark can be illustrated in a non-rectangular form; looking up to the heavens in obedience to the Lord’s command is not just a trivial exercise of seeing shapes in the clouds. We must compare what we see with Scripture, and in so doing we exercise our spiritual faculties. In this way, we study the word of God and come to a clearer understanding of His purposes.
The ark seen in the picture above was to prepare us for what has now come in its full glory. The comet (O3) that traced the ark in 2022 disappeared during its perihelial encounter with the sun, which can be understood in retrospect to mean that the ark of the testament in 2022 was a precursor pointing to the real thing that we are now about to explore.
Would the sign of the Son of Man reveal the ark of the testament that was prophesied to be seen in the heavens before the coming of Jesus? If so, what is the spiritual application for us today and how should we relate to this unveiling?
Remember, the ark of the covenant signified God’s presence in the midst of Israel and His power was manifested through it to overcome their enemies. If we are to see the manifestation of this ark now within the alpha and omega signature of our Lord, we can be confident of God’s protection and presence in our midst regardless of what we may face in the terrible time just ahead of us.
Let us consider how the foreshadowing of the ark in 2022 led us to, and teaches us about the ultimate revelation of this ancient heavenly “artifact”. The Lord has brought our attention to the region of the sky where the sign of the Son of man has appeared in the paths of two comets. Being that this sign shows the divine character of our Lord and of His people, should we not expect to be able to see the ark of His testament there as well?
The first lesson from 2022 that we may apply to see the ark of the testament in this sign is the fact that the box of the ark can be outlined by the trajectories of heavenly bodies. In 2022 we saw comet O3 and the sun tracing the body of the ark; what heavenly bodies do we see fulfilling this role in 2023?
Clearly, the two comets K2 and E3 are now tracing a boundary which serves as an enclosure—a chest of spiritual treasures, much like the ark. We have already identified many interesting objects—the dove, the fish, the man in the river—which we have hinted about in the introduction to this series. Could the body of the “great fish” as formed by the two comet trajectories also represent the ark of the testament? Indeed, this is what we learned from 2022, and you will see that it holds in 2023 as well.
Both ephemerides (the calculated paths of the comets) through the specified time stretch from one clock constellation to the other. Again, we have to think according to the logical symbolism. In the example of 2022, the ephemeris of the sun—apparently a straight line—served to illustrate the carrying staves, which reached from one cherub to the other cherub.
For convenience of illustration, we viewed the scene such that the poles formed a straight line, but in the heavens, all “straight lines” are ultimately curves. Thus, the “straightness” of the line is not the defining characteristic of the poles. Here in 2023, we see that both comet paths span from one clock constellation to the other, and these two clocks are the two witnesses to Time: Orion and the Horologium.
These two constellations represent Jesus as Priest and King, respectively, once in human form (Orion, showcasing His mercy in times of warning) and then decked in divine majesty (Horologium, showcasing His royalty in times of judgment). Are you beginning to comprehend how richly God has filled the heavens with His glory in the manifestation of His presence with the ark? It is one thing to literally see by their form the letters Alpha and Omega inscribed in the heavens, but now we are also beginning to perceive things by the Word of God that are not visually obvious.
If the two clock constellations are the two witnesses, then it makes sense why the comet trajectories terminate in the presence of both constellations.[1] The trails of the comets neatly symbolize the two staves that run from one “ark bearer” to the other.
Orion even holds comet K2 in his left hand with the lion skin as it curves around to the crown of His head, while E3 extends to Orion’s side in the time of the sign. In the Horologium, the comet paths come to His feet (E3) and His right hand (K2), since the Horologium also represents His cross, marking the hour of His sacrifice.[2] Thus, we see that the comets mark the wounds of Jesus: His two outstretched hands, His head, His side, and His feet. Each comet “dipped” into the blood of Jesus’ sacrifice, flowing in the Eridanus, and “sprinkled” it on the mercy seat of the ark—the lid of the chest:
And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. (Leviticus 16:14)
In this scene, we see Jesus’s atoning act, which was done nearly 2000 years ago on Calvary, memorialized, being sprinkled on the ark of His covenant with His own cometary “finger.” And the blood and water that issued from His pierced side confirming His death, flowed down a crack in the earth onto the mercy seat hidden in a cave below[3] like the Eridanus flows onto the heavenly mercy seat.
Thus is represented the blood that Jesus gave for the broken law.[4] For the Christian, the law cannot be separated from His blood. This begs the question, Do we see the law in this sign as well? When we consider that a witness gives a testimony, it stands to reason that the faces of the two clocks (the parts of the two witnesses which speak) also represent the two tables of the testimony: the law of God. But how can the clocks represent the tables of stone inside the ark when the constellations are not mostly within the perimeter circumscribed by the comets? An old prophecy explains:
While these words of holy trust ascend to God, the clouds sweep back, and the starry heavens are seen, unspeakably glorious in contrast with the black and angry firmament on either side. The glory of the celestial city streams from the gates ajar. Then there appears against the sky a hand holding two tables of stone folded together. Says the prophet: “The heavens shall declare His righteousness: for God is judge Himself.” Psalm 50:6. That holy law, God’s righteousness, that amid thunder and flame was proclaimed from Sinai as the guide of life, is now revealed to men as the rule of judgment. The hand opens the tables, and there are seen the precepts of the Decalogue, traced as with a pen of fire. The words are so plain that all can read them. Memory is aroused, the darkness of superstition and heresy is swept from every mind, and God’s ten words, brief, comprehensive, and authoritative, are presented to the view of all the inhabitants of the earth. {GC 639.1}
We saw the tables folded together in 2022, but now the mysterious hand has opened the tables. Each table is presented by his respective witness (Orion and Horologium). Their time-telling faces shine with the glory of God reflecting from His character. Now it is clear why the tables are not within the ark anymore. They have been brought out for all to see.
Clocks indeed have flat faces with numbers, just as the tables of stone had a flat face with ten numbered commandments. However, the comparison stops there—or so it seems—because clocks do not have ten hours, but twelve. How then are God’s “ten words”—brief, comprehensive, and authoritative—presented to view?
We know that the commandments are divided unequally across the two tables. The first table of stone represents man’s covenantal obligation to God and includes the first four commandments. This is the table showcased by Orion, with its four outer stars indicating four hour-marks around the Orion clock. Complementing it, the other table has six commandments pertaining to man’s duty to fellow man. The six o’clock hour is especially prominent because of the pendulum, which is crossed two times by comet E3. Are you able to draw the spiritual lessons from this?
What does God mean by connecting the first table of the law to Orion? Orion represents the Lord’s high-priestly ministry; the ministration of His blood before the Father on behalf of man, to restore the broken relationship between God and His people. Has the blood of Jesus accomplished its work with respect to this table of the law? Is God first in your life, such that you would have the courage to take a stand for Him even when others do not?
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5)
In a similar vein, the Horologium clock, whose six commandments are especially connected to the time of trouble “such as never was” from February 20 to May 28, 2024, calls every one of God’s children to contemplate what it means to fulfill the second table of the law, which deals with our treatment to our fellow man. Have we “loved our enemies”? Have we warned against the physical and spiritual dangers of our day? Jesus stands in the Horologium as the great King and Judge. He is separating the sheep from the goats; those who have—and desire to increase—His love in their hearts for one another, and those who don’t.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (Matthew 22:39)
Jesus was willing even to lay down His life forever, in order to redeem all who had fallen victim to sin.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)
We have all been cut off from God and from life, and except that Jesus made that sacrifice, we would have no hope. If it were not for His choosing to accept His calling as the sacrificial Lamb to take away the sin of the world—if it were not for His choosing to be baptized in the Jordan, we would all be lost forever. This sacrifice is shown in the sign of the Son of Man visible for all to understand and embrace. Jesus is the embodiment of the law of God and His sacrifice is at the center.
Who is he who will show brotherly love in the time of trouble such as never was, between the two separated strikes of the six o’clock hour? Who will let the light of Christ shine through the night of tribulation from dusk until dawn—the dawn of Christ’s second coming? Only those who have the second table of the covenant written in their heart.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. (John 13:35)
Has the law now been made plain?
Another record of the vision quoted above includes more details:
Jesus opened [the tables of stone which folded together like a book], and I saw the ten commandments written on them with the finger of God. On one table were four, and on the other six. The four on the first table shone brighter than the other six. But the fourth, the Sabbath commandment, shone above them all; for the Sabbath was set apart to be kept in honor of God’s holy name. The holy Sabbath looked glorious—a halo of glory was all around it. I saw that the Sabbath commandment was not nailed to the cross. If it was, the other nine commandments were; and we are at liberty to break them all, as well as to break the fourth. I saw that God had not changed the Sabbath, for He never changes. But the pope had changed it from the seventh to the first day of the week; for he was to change times and laws. {EW 32.3}
There is a lot to unpack here, but with the first four commandments represented by the outer stars of Orion, one might ask which of the four stars corresponds to the fourth commandment in this case which is prophesied to shine the brightest. In the Orion presentation, the star Saiph was determined to be the origin for counting time around the Orion clock, and would thus be the “first” star, corresponding to the first commandment in this case. Working clockwise, the second would correspond to Betelgeuse, the third Bellatrix, and the fourth Rigel.
The link between the first four commandments and Orion is confirmed by the fact that Rigel is the star of Orion that shines the brightest. Do you see how the symbols of the prophecy point to a heavenly interpretation? This dovetails nicely with the understanding that the river Eridanus, which has its endpoint at Rigel, represents the Gene of Life or High Sabbath List, which is itself founded upon the Sabbath.[5] Through the High Sabbath List in connection with the Orion message, the Sabbath is proclaimed more fully, as it was also prophesied:
I saw that God had children who do not see and keep the Sabbath. They have not rejected the light upon it. And at the commencement of the time of trouble, we were filled with the Holy Ghost as we went forth and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully… {EW 33.2}
As explained in Christ in You, the Gene of Glory, the Sabbath has much more significance than to specify a day of worship. In fact, while that aspect was a testing point for the church at a key moment of history, it is not the testing point today. But this unique commandment tests the loyalty of the individual to their Creator in the way or ways that may be relevant to society at a given time.
Do we honor God’s design for sexuality according to His image[6] when the world defiles it by supporting LGBT practices? Do we honor His design in our genetics without injecting man’s own biological code, renumbering our genetic sequence? And would we honor His design in time if the worldly powers demanded us to disregard the Creator’s seal in the weekly memorial to His work of salvation[7] in honor of the mark of man’s own effort to save himself? The Sabbath is a threefold test of loyalty, and only two aspects of that test are relevant to society today, and without a dramatic paradigm shift in society that would raise the Sabbath to a prominent divisive issue in the world at large, it will remain so.
The river Eridanus in principle is a representation of the flow of time. It signifies the time that flows not only in the time of judgment, but also on the grand scale of human history, it represents the river that Ezekiel described, spanning first from creation to Christ:
And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins. Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over. (Ezekiel 47:3-5)
The river of Ezekiel represents the blood of Jesus that was pledged at the foundation of the world for the security of mankind.
And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh. (Ezekiel 47:9)
Comparing this to the heavenly scene, it becomes evident that the first stretch of the river from Rigel to the man in the river (see picture) represents those four thousand years that Ezekiel described. These are the years of the great cycle of the clock of Orion that reach from Adam until Jesus Christ. Then the second stretch of the river from the man to the Horologium clock represents the two thousand years of the Christian era up to the present age—a time of judgment. These years closed with the judgment cycle of the Orion clock, which ended in 2014/15.[8]
Putting this into a timeline, the whole history of the world is described by the flow of the river from the Orion constellation (measuring time from Creation) to the Horologium constellation (measuring time at the end of the world).
Thus, with our understanding of the tables of the law being represented in those two constellations, we can now identify the Ten Commandments as an expression of time, before and after the cross:
Now it is even clearer why Jesus said that He did not come to abolish the law:
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. (Matthew 5:17)
Jesus, as the incarnation of divinity, fulfilled the divine part of the covenant by doing everything in His power up to and including giving His very life to fulfill His faithfulness toward mankind. And what about the other six commandments that pertain to man’s part of the covenant? We look back over the six millennia to Creation as a sign that the second table of stone with six commandments has been fulfilled as well—if indeed the conditions of love have been met.
Once more, Jesus summarized the entire law in one command:
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. (John 13:34)
In this “new commandment” is described the reciprocation that indicates union between God and man. When man understands the heart of God, he reciprocates the divine love and the cycle is complete. Thus, the whole law is summed up in a single new commandment. To put this in the context of the timeline, this new commandment is expressed in the millennium during which Christ and His people will reign together.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6)
In the case of Jesus, His sacrifice on the cross at the 4000-year mark shows that Divinity fulfilled the covenant. How can we know that humanity has also done its part? Is there an event, a sacrifice of sorts, that marks the point where we can look back from and see the 6000 years fulfilled?
The answer to this question is very deep. Let us travel the river going from Orion toward Horologium and search carefully for any clues. As our eye follows the way of the river, our sight encounters another “whale” besides the great fish that is formed by the comet trajectories. It is Cetus, the sea monster, or Leviathan, who is Satan.
The two great sea creatures are against each other on opposite sides of the river, one bringing sinners to light and salvation as the great fish did for Jonah, the other seeking to pull into the darkness of his bottomless pit all the “fish” that live in the River of Time. Cetus with his claws is grappling to divert the river from its course, and in the timeline of history, this point—between Creation and the cross—corresponds to the second millennium, when Satan sought to corrupt the work of God through genetic perversion in the days of Noah. Of this, the Lord said:
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:37)
His words are verified as we see the story of Noah’s generation in the sign of the Son of man, which is playing out again today. History repeats. We today have also been traveling the river of time, and Satan is trying again to destroy the work of God in the living creation and bring the earth back to a state of desolation. It was long prophesied that Satan would try to change the course of the River of Time, and the law it represents:
And he [an earthly power in Satan’s control] shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (Daniel 7:25)
But notice which one is bigger! A whale’s power is primarily in its massive tail fin, and it is precisely at the tail of the great fish where the constellation of Orion is seen with his bow aimed directly at the head of Cetus. Satan has every reason to fear the wallop of the wrath of God.
From 2014 when the big, yearly Orion cycles ended and we figuratively set out from Rigel heading along the river toward the time of Christ’s return, there were just two years before the sacrifice of Philadelphia needed to be made in 2016, corresponding to the middle point along the river where the man is seen.
In 2015, in the middle of those two years, Satan once again promoted “marriage and giving in marriage” as in the days of Noah. Marriage is holy in itself, but in the account of the flood one can infer that it was in excess and with the people oblivious to God and the fact that their world was about to end, it was inappropriate.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, (Matthew 24:38)
In 2015 it was same-sex marriage that gave the expression of “marriage and giving in marriage” its colorful (and sinful) hue. Once again, the world hurried to corrupt itself, oblivious to the fact that time on God’s clock was running out. Today the identity amalgamation has gone from a mental exercise to a physical one: not only are a few people confused about whether they are male or female, but now the majority of the world has fallen headlong into augmentation or corruption of the body’s genetic code through mRNA vaccines and other means.[9]
How long will this go on before the Lord destroys the world again?
If the first stretch of the river occupied two years for our present-day journey, one might infer that the last stretch should occupy one year, following the same ratio as in the millennial plan.
This means that the man in the river represents not only the sacrifice of our Lord, but also the sacrifice of Philadelphia. However, there is a big difference: while Jesus’ sacrifice effected salvation for all the world, the sacrifice of Philadelphia could do no such thing. There is only one Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. But what the sacrifice of Philadelphia did accomplish is exactly what was intended: to secure another seven years from Time Himself to allow all those who desired, to reach the River of Life.
Or to put it in the imagery of the heavens, the sacrifice of Philadelphia served to bring the River of Time back on course, snatching life from the claws of death to give to those who seek. And there at that helpful bend is the constellation of Fornax, the oven of affliction for God’s people (where Gold is purified) that has characterized these seven years, which are now about complete.
Is it clear from the timeline that the seven years were granted as requested? This brings the total effective time span of the river from Orion to Horologium to ten years—the number of the full law. We are imminently to begin the final year till the second coming of our Lord in 2024.
For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. (Isaiah 63:4)
The transition from Orion to Horologium represents the difference between Christ’s first coming, when He came as a sacrifice, to His second coming as King of kings. This is described in the praises of those who surround God’s throne:
And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. (Revelation 11:16-17)
To be fit for the kingdom of God, the law of God must be written in every fiber of our being. It must be in our DNA. The High Sabbath List which constitutes the gene of life is figuratively represented by the river Eridanus, which means that our journey from one end to the other represents the human experience of having the law of God written in the DNA.
Today, science knows that DNA morphs over time. It changes shape and behaves differently in different circumstances. Satan (represented by Cetus in the heavens) is trying rather successfully to change humanity’s DNA and divert the course of man’s genetic line. He wants man’s DNA to be like his serpent DNA, and man’s character to follow his selfish way. But the sacrificial character exemplified by Christ brings that river back on course and restores in man that right character, which is then manifested in his own sacrificial choices.
Has the law been written in your heart? Does every cell of your body perform in obedience to His commands, His DNA? The law of God is now symbolized in the heavens by two clocks. God is Time, and His law is a transcript of His character, therefore He presents His laws in symbols of time. This is why we could see the 4000 years till the cross and the 6000 years of sin until the world would be judged by the law. Yes, God does kill. Not because it is in His nature to do harm, but because when evil persists beyond the bounds of time that He has given in grace, the debt of wickedness finally comes due.
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. (Revelation 11:18)
In the Orion clock, the first four commandments are “signed” as it were by the three belt stars, representing the three members of the Divine Council—Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. On the other table, the other clock shows the other six commandments in connection with the time of trouble such as never was, signified by the pendulum. Together, both tables of the testimony are being initialed by the finger of God as the comets trace the letters of the Alpha and Omega in the divine monogram across both.
Thus the law is now verified and presented in the heavens. By faith in Christ’s atoning blood, every child of God can walk blameless according to God’s law throughout the day of vengeance and the year of recompenses, but those who do not walk in faith will not stand, but will have their part in the lake of fire.
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. (Malachi 4:1)
We have described the two tables of the law, as symbolized in the sign of the Son of man. To close this article, let us briefly recognize the remaining items of the ark of the testament: the rod of Aaron that budded and the pot of manna. The former has been described before: it is symbolized by the pendulum rod of the Horologium, which has the leaves and fruits growing on it as illustrated by the path of comet BB.
The pot of manna has also been described in a different form, as we recognized that the dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit in the context of the scene of Christ’s baptism. The Holy Spirit is the oil that produces spiritual light. It is the fuel that feeds the fire of the soul. When we eat the word of God, we must digest it in order for it to bear fruit in our life, as the oil must be combusted to produce its light. The dove, therefore, also symbolizes the pot of manna—the food that descends from heaven—of which this series about the sign of the Son of man in heaven is the last portion.
Has it satisfied your soul? If not, please pray for the Holy Spirit to come upon you and help you understand before it is too late.
Now is the time to lay up treasure in heaven and to set our hearts in order, ready for the time of trouble. Those only who have clean hands and pure hearts will stand in that trying time. Now is the time for the law of God to be in our minds, foreheads, and written in our hearts. {EW 57.2}
The ark of the testament abode in the holiest place of the sanctuary. Only the priest was allowed to look upon it, and then, only once in a year. The priest would dare not open it to expose its contents, lest he and those who beheld it would be consumed. He was to be sober and vigilant in all his work, lest he be found to unworthily handle the blood representing the Lord’s sacrifice, not regarding its holiness.[10]
So now, as the ark is not only seen, but opened—not in a cave where few can witness, but in the starry heavens where none can escape—this generation will feel the wrath of God, except for those who are baptized with the baptism that Jesus was baptized with, as depicted in this sign. It is a baptism of sacrifice, a baptism in the blood of Jesus. This generation of saints at once sacrifices for others and is the fruit[11] of the sacrifice of others, just as we are all saved by the singular sacrifice of the Wounded One.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as [in the manner that] I have loved you. (John 15:12)
By His blood alone may God’s last generation cleanse their hands and their hearts to stand as a generation of priests before the holy ark of God as it opens. Do not fail to wash your robes in the blood of the Lamb. His blood is your seal of life.
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 7:13-14)
