With eyes looking upward, the church of God is eagerly watching with expectation for their Lord’s appearance to deliver them from this fast-deteriorating world of sin. Recently, in an apparent move toward what is right, the Supreme Court of the United States rescinded the 49-year-old “constitutional right” to murder the most vulnerable members of society—those with less than 9 months of life, who have not so much as breathed a single breath of air.
But far from turning to God in repentance, the nation is turning against itself and is being torn apart. They have not repented of their murders.[1] They have not turned to God but to raging madness, and by violence, they will fall.
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. (Revelation 18:21)
How long will God’s patience endure? Many assume that because He is slow to anger, that He does not punish evil, and rather than taking the opportunity to repent, they give themselves more fully to the evil desires of their heart. Will Jesus intercede forever to hold back the winds of strife?
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. (Ecclesiastes 8:11)
But while apparently slow in coming, the Lord will surely execute His frightful sentence. He destroyed men from the earth once with the flood, and He will not fail to do it again by fire in the near future. Yet it is not His desire to destroy, but to save—even now.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (2 Peter 3:9-10)
Not all of God’s people are equally malleable before His Spirit. While some quickly yield to the gentlest pressure, others require painstaking effort with the heaviest tools to break off and grind down their rough edges in a painful process of correction. If you who are more responsive to the Master’s pleading are wondering why He seems to delay, regard your patience in waiting as an exercise in sacrificial brotherly love toward the harder nuts to crack —a patience that is well rewarded:
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)
He who knows the hearts of all men waits just long enough until the most stubborn individual who yet has the capacity to break, through complete and thorough repentance, will finally do so, though it be with the hardest of blows from the divine Workman. But there are different phases of His work, and different classes of assistants in His workshop. Not all serve at the same time or in the same way. But all who will come to Jesus will have a work to do! Even among the Levites, not all were priests. Each one is called to their own work, and each in their time. We must wait for all who will to come to our Lord, and we must work with Him to bring them to righteousness.
The ark of the covenant represents God dwelling with His people. It represents His law hidden under the throne of the Christian’s heart, where He sits as King. Together, the Lamb (Aries) and the Christian (Pisces) reign in cooperation, both being in perfect agreement and conformity to the law of His Kingdom through faith, having “crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts”[2] (shown as Cetus beneath the mercy seat).
It is worthy to note that only one of the ten commandments has ever been openly controversial for the Protestant Christian.[3] The Sabbath commandment has not been fully understood by even those who claim to keep it. The Sabbath is the seal of the Creator; it is the signature of the Author of the commandments of life,[4] written with the finger of God. This commandment is what proves the allegiance of the soul, but that loyalty cannot be tested when one already knows the answer to the test question. God examines the heart, and the results are revealed later according to their character.
The Sabbath is a three-fold seal and a three-fold test. The principle of the fourth commandment is today being tested with a different question than the Sabbath, namely the genetic vaccination question. Here is the test of loyalty to the Creator today. We have taught much on this theme, so I will limit further remarks, except to say that while the Sabbath may not be the test question of our time, those who wish to do His will should consider why it would not be His will to keep holy what He made holy[5] in the beginning!
Knowing the end from the beginning, the Lord anticipated when the new covenant would be fulfilled in His experienced workers.
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel[6] [the church]; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (Jeremiah 31:33-34)
The tracing of the ark in the heavens reveals the final moments before this covenant is fulfilled and His law written in the hearts of His end-time workers, as expressed in those gracious words about them. When that work is finished, they all have His character inside themselves. They literally carry the covenant in their heart! What once was unnatural for them is now written in their code of life. By faith, the Christian’s DNA is imprinted with the Creator’s character; they are His and He knows them. But if man plays creator and touches that sacred realm of one’s genetics (for example, through mRNA vaccines), the person’s DNA is stamped instead with the trademarked impress of pharmaceutical sorcery.
The 144,000—the true, grafted-in[7] Israel of God in 12 spiritual branches[8] are to take firm hold of the ark by faith and carry it with them in their hearts! With every decision for Christ made, the two angels called out at once on July 10, 2022, to thrust in two sickles—one for the good grain, and another for the overripe grapes.
And another angel [Comet PanSTARRS] came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him [Boötes] that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. (Revelation 14:15)
And another angel [Mercury] came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him [Pollux twin] that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. (Revelation 14:18)
In our eagerness to be with Jesus, we believed that because the “higher way” (of the comet C/2021 O3 PanSTARRS) arrived at the Good Shepherd (Boötes with his sickle) on that date (among other supporting reasons)[9], He would then harvest His people to Himself. However, we could see that prophetic world events still continued to lag behind the anticipated timing and Babylon was thriving as much as ever.
Therefore, it was soon almost sure that the rapture could not happen at the time we had proclaimed. After we published Two Sickles, we soon had many questions, but the Lord gave no additional light on the theme of the rapture. Like Daniel, there were three full weeks—Sunday to Sabbath—during which we had no pleasant (spiritual) food to satisfy our yearning hearts with a confirming message of time.
In this time of waiting, one thing did become very clear: regardless of how harmonious any “rapture watch” may be, such a window of opportunity will necessarily pass without the expected event if God’s people are not ready to meet Him at the appointed time! His appearance in glory is no trifling event, and it demands perfect Christlike purity and holiness—only attainable by faith—among those who are to stand. It even seemed to be that God had brought us to part with trying to understand His time. We questioned the value of “knowing the time” when it ultimately hinged on something other than time—the readiness of His people.
Yet Jesus clearly commanded us to look up when we see that He is about to come, and should we now ignore His direct command and look instead to ourselves? Of course, we should not ignore our own condition in our private communion with God, but the church needs the guiding light from heaven!
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21:28)
His command is two-fold. We are not merely to look up, where by faith, we see beyond the sky and birds to the heavenly canvas with its rich tapestry of wisdom, but we are to lift up our heads—to be encouraged and filled with joy and cheerfulness! At such a time as this, the Christian, filled with the hope of the imminent return of our Lord, ought not to hang his head in discouragement! Our King of glory is coming to receive His people! If we are converted in our heart and baptized in death to sin, living in Christ with love for God and His brotherly love for our fellow man—the two great commandments that embody His law—then we may have confidence that we are His.
We had previously assumed that the antitypical 21 days of Daniel must end on July 10, which we believed to be the rapture day, but experience has shown that they indeed were three complete weeks rather than partial weeks. The next new week after the true solar (sidereal) anniversary of Jesus’ resurrection (June 21) began on Sunday, June 26, 2022. This began “three full weeks”, each from the first to the seventh day, until Sabbath, July 16, 2022—when the sun and Mercury came forth from the winter hexagon at sunset.
But finally, the Holy Spirit gave us hope through understanding[10] on that last Sabbath in a most remarkable way to be revealed throughout the upcoming articles of this series. In the meantime, a dream from Dana Coverstone[11] pointed us precisely back to God’s active clock in the Horologium constellation, where the hour of the sacrifice of our Lord (the ninth hour, or 3:00 pm) is directly marked, as in the dream.
This huge clock tower, as it is referred to in the pastor’s dream, has a proportionately large clock hand—the largest comet ever seen! Comet 2014 UN271 Bernardinelli-Bernstein, discovered on the Hebrew birthday of Jesus in 2014,[12] was recognized as an active comet immediately after the last Orion cycle had finished. God made a definite transition to this giant, heavenly pendulum clock for the closing time of earth’s history.[13]
As the cometary clock hand begins to trace the third lobe that touches the clock, it exits the clock just as it crosses the three o’clock hour. Could there be significance in this departure at the hour of Jesus’ sacrifice? The pendulum also marks the evening hour (about 6:00) by which time, the Savior had given His life for man and was laid in the grave.
The time between these two marked hours is of special interest to us now, since this is where the clock is pointing at the present time, as you will see. It is a precision instrument for measuring the time for key prophetic events on this earth!
As the Lord shines light on our way, He reveals the logic of His plan for the great harvest of souls for salvation. For Biblical Israel, the harvest was a yearly employment that all were intimately familiar with. Their lives revolved around the produce of the ground, especially the “staff of life”! The wheat was not ready to eat just because it was harvested from the field! The harvested sheaves were brought to the threshing floor, where the grain was ejected from the stalks and husks by crushing them under the feet of oxen.[14]
Then the mixture of chaff and edible grain was winnowed in the wind to separate them, until it was finally sifted from any dirt or pebbles that would inevitably be gathered up with the pile of grain.
As you can imagine, this process took some time, and in fact, when there was a bumper crop, it would even overlap with the grape picking season, which ran from June until September.[15] In this light, it is very interesting that this time frame on the Horologium clock spans precisely the aforementioned range between the two marked hours that encompass the time of Jesus’ death on the cross until He was resting in the grave, for which this loop of the comet is associated with Christ’s blood.[16] It is the season for the grape harvest, after which would be the time for treading of the grapes, if the application is to be understood in literal time in the northern hemisphere. In the enlarged image below, you can see where we are on the clock, moving counterclockwise.
The comet crosses the 3:00 mark on September 14, 2022, just as the vintage in Israel is winding down and the overripe grapes would be ready to be trodden underfoot outside the city of Philadelphia, which is not destined for God’s wrath.
And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. (Revelation 14:20)
A potentially helpful hint in Dana Coverstone’s dream is that at 4:00, the whole earth begins to shake terribly after something like a gong is heard and military men come out of 8 black transportation containers. Four o’clock on the Horologium corresponds to July 23, 2022. This is very interesting in relation to the ark of the covenant, because when the law is fully written in the hearts of God’s workers, they are brought into the ark of safety, where they are protected by the hand of Jesus. This is revealed on the heavenly canvas by Venus coming to the door of the sanctuary at the hand of Orion just one week earlier on July 16, 2022, when the sun and Mercury crossed the border of the winter hexagon:
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14)
This is the door to the heavenly sanctuary—the holy place where they find protection and safety in Christ, never to be plucked from His hand.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (John 10:27-28)
On Sabbath, July 15/16, Venus thus entered the ark of safety like it was before the flood, when Noah, his family, and the animals entered the physical ark of protection.
And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. (Genesis 7:15-16)
Having entered, the Lord shut the door behind the Philadelphian church on July 16/17. Then our last spiritual portion of sustenance was given, and henceforth all must be sustained from above according to their faith.
As in the time of Noah, seven days may be expected to transpire without event after the door is shut. This brings us to Sabbath, July 22/23, and during that day, the pendulum clock in heaven strikes four. The destroying “rain of fire,” however, may not fall until the first full day of the four o’clock hour: Sunday, July 24, 2022. Quite interestingly, in the southern hemisphere, this is the twenty-fourth day[17] of the ninth month,[18] which is the anniversary of the laying of the foundation of the second temple where Jesus entered in the flesh.
Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid, consider it. Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you. (Haggai 2:18-19)
It is presently wintertime in the southern hemisphere, as it was in Israel when the foundation of the temple was laid, and now, the spiritual foundation is laid for the true, living third temple (regarding which, any temple of unbelievers planned in modern Israel is a counterfeit and smokescreen). Every living stone having the Holy Spirit dwelling in him[19] stands upon the solid foundation of the ark, wherein is safety. From this day, the Lord will bless you and overthrow His enemies as the prophet continued:
And again the word of the Lord came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying, Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother. (Haggai 2:20-22)
In the Precision dream of Dana Coverstone, the earth began to shake when the clock struck four, just as this verse indicates, in combination with the Horologium clock time! The 8 black containers he saw could represent 8 weeks of darkness of war over the world. This would lead exactly to the week of the 3:00 mark—one hour on the clock. Could it be that this is when man’s Doomsday clock[20] will strike midnight?
God’s workers have brotherly love written in their hearts. They are sealed and safe in the ark: the living third temple in Christ, now represented by Orion. Though shaken, this living temple of the Holy Spirit will stand strong by faith.
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee [safe] from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. (Revelation 3:10-11)
Many have understood this verse to refer to the rapture, because the church is kept from the hour of temptation. But we have to concede that it may also be understood that He keeps us in the protection of His spiritual ark through the terrible storm on the earth, as it was in the days of Noah.
Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. (Isaiah 26:20-21)
To Philadelphia, Jesus also spoke of His sole power to open and shut a door:
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. (Revelation 3:7-8)
When Venus comes to the door of the holy place, known as the Truth, “He that is holy, he that is true” opens the door with the key of David. Enter into your chambers, and the Lord will shut the door behind you, and no man can open it! Isaiah speaks of hiding for a little time while He punishes the wicked world. For Philadelphia, it is a time of joy in the midst of sorrows, for the vision continues and soon, the Lord does a marvelous thing:
He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit. (Isaiah 27:6)
It is the time when the world is to be filled with the light of God’s glory from the fourth angel—represented in Dana Coverstone’s dream as four lights coming from the south (South America):
And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. (Revelation 18:1-2)
At least until the hour of temptation, Babylon will surely continue to thrive, but since Jesus closed the door, none of the unclean birds inside that cage will escape its destruction. Just as Nebuchadnezzar’s fall came shortly after he boasted of “Great Babylon” that he had built for his honor, so it is with modern Babylon. The icon of the New World Order, the James Webb Space Telescope with its gaze calibrated on the dragon’s heart,[21] is being used to search for habitable planets. While we can admire and give our Creator worship for the incredible beauty and vastness of His creation that the telescope brings to view, instead of humbly praising God, the proud and godless Babylon just boasts of their achievements and is dreamy-eyed with hopes of spreading its wings of abomination to other planets. Comparable to Nebuchadnezzar, Biden summed up his impious boasting like this:
There’s nothing beyond our capacity—nothing beyond our capacity. We can see possibilities no one has ever seen before. We can go places no one has ever gone before.
The fate of Babylon is determined. The summer of her threshing is here when Nebuchadnezzar’s image is shown in the heavens to fall. Her plagues have filled up the cup of God’s wrath, and in that hour of temptation, the wrath is fiercely poured out.
And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. (Revelation 15:1)
And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. (Revelation 16:18-19)
Rhonda Empson recently had a dream where she saw destruction commencing and was surprised, because she thought the church would be raptured before the destruction. Now it is too late to adequately prepare for one’s physical needs during that time when the sinners in Zion are afraid, but those who have prepared themselves spiritually through an abiding relationship with Christ are given a precious promise.
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? [in the great time of trouble] who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? He that walketh righteously [with the law in his heart], and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions [fortresses] of [heavenly] rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. (Isaiah 33:14-17)
The Lord will care for the needs of those who put their trust in Him, even if they did not understand all that they should have done to prepare physically. As He sent a raven to Elijah during the drought, He will send angels to His end-time people who shall not taste death. Elijah stands as a type for them, having never died himself.
Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian [Babylonian]: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. And the Lord of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. (Isaiah 10:24-27)
Those who take refuge in the fortresses of the cometary “rocks” that God is using to give direction and timing will look up and follow the PanSTARRS[22] rock—that millstone that was cast into the sea by faith, being made visible (and audible) for all the world by the Hunga-Tonga volcanic eruption.
In Dana Coverstone’s dream, he saw a Man (understood to be the Lord) with a huge bow and sharp, white arrows, which we can understand in the heavenly symbolism as Sagittarius, where the sun (as the Bridegroom) was when Hunga-Tonga erupted. The powerful arrows from the ark of the covenant will dispel the attackers of God’s church. At the end of the dream, the Man shot an arrow straight up, like the path of the comet PanSTARRS as it leaves the ark, and that arrow never came down, nor did the Lord stop looking up. Will this pastor follow suit and look to the heavens from whence his help cometh?
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills [the constellations], from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. (Psalms 121:1-2)
The PanSTARRS arrow tells the story of the way to the rapture. In the dream, the arrow flew up and out of sight, but it never came down. So also, this comet, whose important trajectory follows a one-way journey to interstellar space, is a symbol for those who will likewise fly away, out of sight in the rapture, ultimately to leave the limitations of this three-dimensional universe forever. Consider his words as the pastor relates this part of the dream and draws a lesson from it:
He quickly put an arrow into the bow, and He shot it straight up in the air. He took a defensive position, shot that thing straight up in the air, and just kept looking. He wasn’t looking around at the crowd or the people near the church. He shot it straight up in the air, and that arrow never came back down. I found myself kind of looking, watching, waiting for it to come back down, and it never came back down. He kept looking into the air where He shot it and He never looked back at me.
You know what? The Bible says that the word will not return void. I promise you, our prayers will not either. He shot it straight up. Look up, for your redemption draws nigh. Our eyes need to be on Him. Our hearts need to be on Him. Our understanding needs to be left with Him, precisely praying—praying with precision, every prayer that we pray, and making a difference— never leaving that [front battle-] line…
The word of God was heard, thundering from Hunga-Tonga as faith did what Jesus said it would.[23] In the dream, arrows were first shot out to surrounding attackers like the guiding lights on our 42-station journey, before this final arrow was shot straight up like the comet’s path after tracing the ark of the covenant.
When we first identified this comet as the millstone of Revelation 18, we saw it being cast into the “sea” of Aquarius’ waterpot. But when an undersea volcano in the Polynesian waters of Tonga suddenly exploded in a record-breaking volcanic eruption that sent shockwaves multiple times around the globe and an ash cloud that reached into space, we soon understood that God had spoken, announcing the time of Jesus’ return! A prophecy of Ellen White described scenes like just such an oceanic volcano in connection with God’s proclamation of the time.[24]
And the millstone comet that we had recently learned about was then at the waterpot of Aquarius. Thus, we had a heavenly sign of a millstone being cast into the sea at the same time as an earthly event that made quite a “splash” and was itself identified by some as the millstone being cast into the sea. Thus, we saw that there was a connection of faith between the two! What’s more, Aquarius was directly overhead in the skies of Tonga at the moment when the volcano erupted!
The Father’s voice, captured in heaven by the comet C/2021 O3 (PanSTARRS) was heard like peals of loudest thunder on earth. In the months that followed, we therefore always sought to understand how this comet, connected by faith with the Hunga Tonga eruption, would finally proclaim the time of the Lord’s return. One sister was given a message several years ago to “watch Tonga” and “Keep your eyes on Tonga,” which was naturally related to this eruption. When you put together “Keep your eyes on Tonga” and Jesus’ command to “look up”, you see this comet!
We watched for when it crossed the ecliptic, when it formed the cross, when it showed the Shepherd’s staff, when it drew the ark of the covenant, when it entered Elijah’s chariot, and when it came directly to the Good Shepherd of Boötes Himself, but alas, none of these points have marked the Lord’s return or the rapture!
Has the word of God returned void? Now, the comet has nearly finished its course through the heavens, and no specific dates remain discernable from its path.
Nevertheless, the line of that flying comet-arrow tells a story of redemption drawing near, which you must look up to see. Then you will see Him, your heart will be on Him, your understanding will be rooted in Him, and you will recognize that His ways are higher than our ways!
Where did the arrow go? Jesus was watching it in Dana Coverstone’s dream. The characters on its path tell the story of a valiant Warrior against the devil. First, Perseus, who overcame the sea monster (biblically, Leviathan), represents the Redeemer, of whom there is relevant insight from E.W. Bullinger in The Witness of the Stars:
Here we have set before us a mighty man, called in the Hebrew Peretz, from which we have the Greek form Perses, or Perseus… It is the same word which is used of Christ in Micah 2:13. When He shall surely “gather the remnant of Israel” (v.12), it is written—
“THE BREAKER is gone up before them....
Their King is passed on before them,
And the Lord at the head of them”
It speaks of the promise to gather the remnant of Israel like sheep in the fold. This recalls what may be the most elusive of all hopes that Jesus taught:
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. (John 10:16)
If the Lord were to come at this moment, would He really find “one fold”? Sure, there are other ways to explain what He may have meant, but the most straight-forward understanding would be that His people are united in belief and not scattered across many denominational “folds.” He spoke of a work to do to gather them, and Perseus, “The Breaker” is needed to do this. Bullinger continues:
This is what is pictured to us here. We see a glorious “Breaker” taking His place before His redeemed, breaking forth [like an arrow] at their head, breaking down all barriers, and breaking the heads of Leviathan and all his hosts.
Yes, there are barriers, such as deep-seated prejudices against time messages, that must be broken down, and experience says that this can be done “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit” alone.[25]
The arrow flies high and comes to Boötes, the Good Shepherd. He protects His sheep with His rod and staff in this troublous time, and leads them beside still waters where a table of heavenly bread is set:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. (Psalm 23)
What will it take to unite God’s people? Ellen White also has an equivalent unfulfilled prophecy:
The 144,000 were all sealed and perfectly united. On their foreheads was written, God, New Jerusalem, and a glorious star containing Jesus’ new name. At our happy, holy state the wicked were enraged, and would rush violently up to lay hands on us to thrust us into prison, when we would stretch forth the hand in the name of the Lord, and they would fall helpless to the ground. Then it was that the synagogue of Satan knew that God had loved us who could wash one another’s feet and salute the brethren with a holy kiss, and they worshiped at our feet. {EW 15.1}
The 144,000 may all be sealed, but they are certainly not “perfectly united”! Indeed, this is a dilemma for Jesus that we are presently helpless against. This prophecy is in the setting of the church of Philadelphia, for whom the door to the wedding chamber is opened. The time is here, but what will it take to unite God’s sheep into one fold?
The next human figure that the comet-arrow flies into is the constellation of Hercules. There has been uncertainty as to his identity, as Bullinger states, but in our context, we can understand better:
Aratus shews the same uncertainty as to the meaning of this Constellation of Hercules. He says:
“Near this, and like a toiling man, revolves
A form. Of it can no one clearly speak,
Nor what he labours at. They call him simply
‘The man upon his knees’: In desperate struggle
Like one who sinks, he seems. From both his shoulders
His arms are high-uplifted and out-stretched
As far as he can reach; and his right foot is planted on the coiled Dragon’s head.”
Ancient authorities differ as to the personality of Hercules, and they disagree as to the number, nature, and order of what are sometimes called “the twelve labours of Hercules.” But there is no doubt as to the mighty foretold works which the woman’s Seed should perform.
Some, like Bullinger, have understood this constellation to represent Jesus, because his foot is positioned to crush the head of the dragon. While this is not entirely false, it is not the whole picture. In Revelation 17, the nations, given power for one hour, are said to war against the Lamb, and those who are with Him:
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. (Revelation 17:14)
The hour of their power began September 25, 2015, when the United Nations symbolically sought Pope Francis to reign over them. Thus, they gave their power to the beast, and fought with Pope Francis against the Lamb for one Orion hour of 7 years. Now, in 2022, we are in the final stages of that hour of power, but Jesus is not here in Person that they could fight against Him. But they war against Him in the person of His people—“they that are with Him”.
This is the increasingly “desperate struggle” of the “man upon his knees” in prayer, with arms lifted high and outstretched to their limit in service. Hercules, which the PanSTARRS comet enters on September 23, 2022—the 5th anniversary of the great sign of the woman of Revelation 12—represents Christ in the last generation remnant of His people. They are those who will do “greater works” than Jesus;[26] they are the remnant of her seed (DNA).
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 12:17)
There is a time of Jacob’s trouble, and war will be waged on the minority who still have their Creator’s DNA. Before PanSTARRS enters Hercules, however, it passes through Corona Borealis, the crown of seven burning lamps for the overcomers of the seven churches. It is the crown of life to be given to the saints! For those to whom this crown is given, Jesus lovingly cautions:
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. (Revelation 3:11)
Jesus is indeed coming quickly, but first to come is a great trial that will pressure many to surrender their crown. Hold fast to what you have! It will just be a little while until He comes with deliverance. Of course, again, the time of His coming depends on whether the sheep really come into the fold of the Good Shepherd! What will that require?
We cannot ignore the fact that there is an entire “leaf” of the Horologium comet, pointed to by the 3:00 hour hand! Will it require worsening circumstances all the way until April 24, 2023, when the 3:00 mark is struck again—with the journey only finishing on May 19, 2023, when the leaf is fully drawn? Or are the months immediately in front of us enough?
Let’s be up-front and acknowledge that up to this point, there is not enough evidence to conclusively offer a specific date to watch for the rapture. We see that the heavenly clock strikes the crucifixion hour on September 13/14, 2022, but in what we have presented so far, we lack a second witness to nail down whether this could be the rapture or not.
This reflects the state of God’s church in the last days before finishing the heavenly ark of the covenant. Who shall be able to stand as a witness for Him? Even those who may have His character written in their heart yet resist calling themselves commandment-keepers. That sounds too much like works. But our works are works of faith, and we keep the commandments by faith in Him who alone merits God’s favor.
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Revelation 14:12)
Blessed are they that do his commandments [by faith], that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14)
Are you the missing second witness? Is He waiting for His bride to stand for His law, enduring their cross, despising its shame?
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him [those who would be thus redeemed] endured the cross, despising the shame [ridicule, contempt, and persecution], and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)
Had Jesus not endured His cross, the lost would have no chance for salvation. Has Jesus finished your faith? Is the joy of the rapture of your fellow brethren enough to strengthen you to endure your own cross? A covenant is a two-party agreement, and we also have a part to play!
The unending story of faith is nearly complete. The Author of our faith will now finish it.
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. (Hebrews 12:3-4)
In the evil, violent, and bloody time ahead of us, let us ever remember Him, who sweat agonizing drops of blood, but made the decision to patiently bear every insult, trial and scourge for the joy that was set before Him, which joy was the reward of His sacrifice.
So also, let the joy of the salvation and rapture of others be our motivation to endure all that sinners may cast in our way against us, lest any should fall at our weakness. Our faith is not in a date, although as of Sabbath, July 16, 2022, having reached the end of the ark of the covenant, we suddenly understood clearly how Hunga Tonga proclaimed the time of both the Lord’s coming and the rapture in a way that only the Creator can do! This has already been studied with those in our Refuge, which we invite you to join, and will be presented publicly in upcoming articles of this series. As we approach the hour of His sacrifice on the clock, remember your brethren.
Strengthen the exhausted, and make the feeble strong.
Say to those with anxious heart,
“Take courage, fear not.
Behold, your God will come with vengeance;
The retribution of God will come,
But He will save you.”
Then the eyes of those who are blind will be opened,
And the ears of those who are deaf will be unstopped.
Then those who limp will leap like a deer,
And the tongue of those who cannot speak will shout for joy.
For waters will burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert. (Isaiah 35:3-6 NASB)
By faith, the PanSTARRS millstone was cast into the sea as Hunga-Tonga violently erupted. By faith, the cross was formed in the heavens, which ultimately served as a guide for His people as it became His comforting Shepherd’s staff. In faith, His blood was applied to the doorposts of the hearts of all those looking to Him at this critical time, that His life could be theirs. By faith, the ark of the covenant was seen in heaven and the law it embodies is written in the heart. The Good Shepherd thus dwells with us, and through faith, a table is prepared for us before our enemies. By faith, we fear neither terror by night, nor arrow by day; neither pestilence nor destruction.[27]
The comet of faith originated from the northern cross, where Jesus first “authored” it, and as it makes its way to its eternal home in the heavens, those who learned the new song of the harpers[28] (represented by Lyra) will sing of the inexhaustible mysteries of His sacrificial character.
And when asked about the hardships of earth, we will realize how cheap heaven was. The true cost is eternally revealed only through the radiance of the cross (as shown in Cygnus).
… We tried to call up our greatest trials, but they looked so small compared with the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory that surrounded us that we could not speak them out, and we all cried out, “Alleluia, heaven is cheap enough!” and we touched our glorious harps and made heaven’s arches ring. {EW 17.2}
When we stand as enraptured witnesses with our eyes, our hearts, and our understanding forever fixed on the glorious cross, we will conclude that in the end, God is not just time, but also love!
